I was attempting to reach 179 pounds by pride weekend, but I don’t think that is going to happen. However I do so much during pride weekend I might make it to 179 by the end of it. Holla! (Oh yea.. Lost 1 pound this week. As long as I am losing I’m happy)

I have no clue how my body did it… but I lost 1 pound this week. After all the drinking I did this week it is truly a miracle.

I didn’t lose anything this week… Possibly because of my lack of any exercise… not sure. Maybe it is just how things go… I’ll try and be as good as possible this week, and hope for better results next time.

This past week I tried something new which didn’t make me lose more weight but it let me have a couple cheat days… which was nice. Basically on the “Lose It” app you are supposed to count your calories for each day, and not go over your daily limit. This past week I just made sure not to go over my weekly allowance. This meant that on some days I could go 200 to 400 calories over my daily limit, and then on another day go 200 to 400 under my daily limit. I could do whatever I wanted as long as by the end of the week I was under. I wasn’t sure what the results would be, but they turned out to be fairly average. I lost 2 pounds this week. I’m going to attempt to do this again this week and see how it goes.

May 10th
Lost 2 more pounds this week, and finally met my second goal of 189 pounds! So far I have lost 23 pounds. Love it! I set me new goal of 179 pounds today, and according to the app I should reach that goal in mid-June. Exciting! How is everyone else doing on their diets this week?

I only lost 1 pound this week. I blame the margaritas I had on Friday for low weight loss this week hahaha. No I am happy to lose anything… hello I was a heifer. I completed a 20 mile bike ride this week, and I am going to do it again (weather permitting) this coming weekend as well. Maybe I’ll ride 21 miles this weekend since I am down 21 pounds, and then every time I lose weight I’ll ride longer… yessssss.

Yes, I jumped on the bandwagon this month thanks to Heifer 1 and Heifer 2. I’ve been dieting since April 1. I had a little set back this week only losing .5 pounds but since April 1, I have lost 8.5 pounds and 10.5 from my heaviest (which was mid-March).
Movie ReRun – Shaun of the Dead
It’s just so funny. It’s been on Comedy Central this month. I love that for the whole morning commute during the opening scenes everyone is dead tired and zombie-like and then 20 minutes those same scenes happen again except everyone around him is a zombie. I love zombie movies like nobody’s business. I even have zombie exit strategies. I think about this shit while I’m playing Catan in the restroom.

So I’ve been riding my exercise bike a lot. And I’ve been grooving out to my jams. But let me tell you that I pump a lot faster when this Martina and the Diamonds diddy comes on the shuffle. The clip calls it Shampain Sleeper but it’s just Shampain. Also about 2 weeks ago, I tweeted some lyrics from this song and Nick got mad at me for drinking champagne when I should be dieting. Bitch, I was singing and not cheating. I feel celestial! Yyyes.

This shit is amazing. I wasn’t too big of a fan of it when it first came out, but after seeing her perform it on American Idol I jumped on board. Compared to all the other idiots who performed awful renditions of otherwise good songs (see: Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Ke$ha, Adam Lambert) on the show, MJB proved that she’s still in the business for a reason! — she knows how to sing and how to put on a good show. And, seriously, who else could pull off a LZ song like that?

Diet Update 04/26/10

This week I lost an additional 2 pounds making my total lost to date 20 pounds! How crazy is that. It makes me pretty sick to think that my body had an additional 20 pounds on it 2 months ago. Think about how heavy 20 pounds of fat is? Nasty! Oh and I went to the store recently, and I tried on some medium shirts…. they totally fit me. That’s right… I’m down a shirt size bitches!

Well I am glad I lost 2 more pounds this week… I was beginning to think that I was stuck at 196. Sad news is a spoke on my bike broke, so I took it into the shop to get it fixed and get a tune up, and I won’t get it back til a week from Wednesday. I guess I’ll be walking home a lot this week.

In good news though, it is getting a lot easier for me to ride my bike. I’ve been riding at a more difficult level which helps me keep better speed. I can even keep up with these skinny bitches on Market Street finally.

According to my iPhone app “LoseIt”, today I should have reached my first goal of 199 pounds. I weighed myself this morning, and I am exactly 199 pounds today! YAY! I have now lost 13 pounds in the last 4 1/2 weeks.
My new goal now is to get to 189 pounds. According to LoseIt, I should reach this goal on April 29, 2010. Wish me luck!
