That’s Some Bullshit

So today I heard that Gary Jr. was posting a shit load of new stuff on the blog…. a blog that I thought was dead, but I guess not.  Anyways I clicked on my bookmark on my work computer, and the stupid blog wouldn’t load.  I kept trying and nothing.  I finally checked it out on my phone, and it worked just fine.  I checked with a couple other co-workers who read the blog, and no one here at my work can access the blog anymore.  They fucking blocked it!!!   Facebook still works, Twitter still works, FailBlog still works… so what’s the problem here people?  Maybe our blog is too racy for our engineering team or something.  This is just another reason why I need to find a new job.  I guess it is a good thing we are not posting shit on the blog everyday anymore.

Diet Update 03/21/11

Ugh this past weekend was not a good one for me.  Lots of drinking and lots of bad food, but fuck it I had a really good time.   I had attempted to go on a bike ride Saturday morning, but then it started pouring and hailing.  This weather is really starting to piss me off people!

Anyways looks like some of you are doing really well with your diets…  what are you doing to keep those pounds coming off?  Eating better?  Exercise? Enema?

Diet Update 03/07/11

Well it looks like a lot of you do better than me this last week.  I blame the illness and the girl scouts for this!  I also didn’t do much of a bike ride this weekend… blah!  Seriously though I am sucking major balls at this.  To everyone I know…. Stop letting me eat poorly!  I am weak inside!

So if anyone has some good dieting tips or recipes or anything you should post a comment about it.  A girl needs all the help she can get.

It has been one week since we started the diet and it is time to see how everyone is doing.  Please comment below if you have not already notified me of your loss this week.

I’ll admit that I did not do the best job counting my calories this week, and my binge drinking on Friday didn’t help either I am sure.  It’s ok though… it takes time to get back into the swing of things.

I did however ride my bike 46 miles this weekend with Alfie… so thank god for some exercise.  :)

Another F’ing Diet

Last year when I was dieting I went from 212 pounds to 178 pounds.  Well bad news kiddies!  I am now up to 193.  Ugh.  Weight is really hard to keep off because food is so delicious!!  hahaha.

Last year at this time I started a diet using the Lose It app on my iPhone, and it’s that time again bitches!  I know a lot of people didn’t like my weekly diet updates last year, but it really does help keep me on track because who wants to post that they are a big fat loser for the week they don’t lose weight?  So I have to torture you all again with it, so bare with me.

If anyone would like to do this with me then let me know.  I’ll be posting my weight (and loss of) every Monday on the blog, and I can post yours as well.  You will be surprised how motivating an audience can be.

[Update - So I adjusted it so no one's actual weight is listed.  We will just track what everyone loses per week, and their total lost so far.   Feel free to email, text or comment me every Monday with your weight loss for that week and I'll add it.   Remember...  alcohol has calories too hahaha]

You Know What I Hate?

I hate it when I am lazy and type on a computer thinking it will auto correct to what I want it to say. Damn you iPhone!!

So What! Who Cares?!?

All last week I’ve been complaining about my iPhone. The headphones keep crapping out and I only can hear out of the left ear. I had to keep pushing the headphones in and twisting it around in order to get a good connection.

Nick, of course, had an absolute opinion as to why my phone was busted. Listen here. Oh and so did Benutty.

Well, last night I was playing a crossword on my phone and noticed something as I sat it down. I peered into the hole and saw something. What was it? It looked like a little piece of white plastic had broke off of my phone and was lodged in the earphone jack. Grr. I can’t listen to my music and the iPhone is literally falling to pieces.

So I get a little piece of wire and try to fish the plastic out of the hole. Sure enough I get it. And lo and behold, I discover it is not a piece of plastic that had broken off my phone but rather a fingernail clipping.

That’s right. A FINGERNAIL CLIPPING. I swear I can’t make this shit up.

So what! Who cares?!? It’s a fingernail clipping in my iPhone earphone jack. Have a glass of Pinot Grigio and go to bed. So what! Who cares?!?

Diet Update 10/11/10

Oops… Kind of slacked off on my diet for a couple months.  I’ve been dreading weighing myself again because I didn’t want to find out that I gained hella weight back.  Today was the day though, and it wasn’t as painful as I thought it was going to be.  I gained 5 pounds since the last update I posted.  I now weigh 184 pounds.

The diet starts again today, and so does my regular bike rides.  I’m hopeful that I can continue to lose weight and reach my current goal of 169 pounds before the end of the year.

Anyone else having dieting issues like me? haha

Diet Update 08/09/10

Finally I can fucking post an update!  4 weeks has past and I finally lost 1 pound.  Ugh that was not easy… I don’t like this plateau bullshit.   It better start dripping off right now… can you imagine that?  If it actually dripped off.  Blah!

So I went on a 34-mile bike ride this weekend, and it was so much fun.  I feel like I am now prepared to bike to Samuel P. Taylor park when we go camping in a couple weeks. I took some pictures on the way to show everyone.

Diet Update 07/12/10

So I haven’t posted one of these in a while so let’s catch up on what has been going on.  About two weeks ago I lost another pound to make my total weight loss 31 pounds, but then after 4th of July weekend I gained the pound back… Boooooooo!   This week though I lost 2 pounds, so my total weight loss now is 32 pounds.  A good rebound!

I also went on my first bike trip across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito.  The ride back almost killed me but I made it, and I didn’t walk or stop to rest so I think I did a good job.  Considering the shape I was in 6 months ago I think I’m doing pretty good.

Is Aunt Frawn a Vamp?

Seriously, what’s up with Aunt Frawn and her iPhone game playing habit? I wake up between 6:30 and 7 while Michael gets ready in the morning and no sooner do my eyes open then Aunt Frawn buzzes me because she just played QAT or JUS in Scrabble. And then as I’m drifting off to sleep watching Chelsea Lately, Frawnster buzzes me again. Does Aunt Frawn sleep? Or is she a vamp? When does she have time to maintain a lovely household, a lovely husband, two lovely children and yet manage to find time to lose to me at Scrabble? We are going to have to ask her to pronounce “Sookie” before we can make any determinations regarding her undead status.

As of today I have lost 30 pounds!  Say what!?!?  It’s kind of sad that I am happy about it, and sickened by it at the same time.   30 pounds is a lot… I was a god damn heifer.   Never again!
