Next stop… Whores!
Amazing Race: The Aftermath
Well, well, well.
Last Saturday was the Amazing Race that Nick (and Jay) put together. It was so much fun and was exhausting. On Sunday, everyone’s Facebook status included a comment either about sunburns, muscle fatigue, exhaustion or blisters or a combination of them. So you know it was good times.
I personally enjoyed the baby food challenge where we had to taste mixed up dyed baby food to guess what two types of food it was. There was a 7 story staircase challenge that almost cost Misha his life. I also liked the 47 bus driver who lost her shit when she found out we were on a race for prizes and glory. As we ran off, she leaned out of the bus and yelled, “I’m rooting for you!” Aww. Surely, there were other highlights that others can include in the comments section.
My personal favorite was the decision by someone (dirty Nick) to invite German triathletes to the fun family and friends event. Well, that certainly upped the anty, didn’t it? These chiseled specimens of humanity were hella fit. They literally ran from spot to spot instead of taking buses because the buses took too long! Haha. What chance did anyone have in challenging them? In all, it was like a 25 mile circuit that they RAN. They killed it. It was kinda amazing but I’ll never admit it.
Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a tasty BBQ that included Benutty family frolics, which of course are the most fun. And everyone recalled stories about what happened to them along the race. At the end of the day, Nick and Jay pulled it off.

Yes. So fun!
Best part? That the Gary/Misha & Benutty/Alfie teams got fast forwards that let them bypass Chinatown and uncooked canned corn!! Oh hell no. I would have quit.

Um what exactly did jay do besides show up on Saturday to help? Thank you!
Glad you had a good time bitches.

Having to put up with Nick during the “planning phase” certainly was enough to require our thanks and admiration.

So fun.
Despite my continuous, broken record, repeating of “I hate Nick” and “Nick is dead” during the staircase challenge, I love him for putting this together. He really did a great job. This was one of the best days I’ve had since last year’s SSC.
Favorite moment #1: Beating So Hairy, Its Scary (Benutty and Alfie) to the finish line… And actually placing 3rd.
Favorite moment #2: My face/jaw drop when Gary Jr. and Misha got off the N at Duboce Park, same time as my team and the 1st placers. Uncle M and I knew we were tied for first at that point, but had no idea it was a 3 way tie… We thought those mami-fuckers were long gone from the competition.
